While at times, anxiety can be stressful and alarming, it can also keep you safe.

Without anxiety, or fear, you may not be afraid of doing things that would be potentially harming to yourself or others. Anxiety can help keep you safe, even if it doesn’t always feel like it.

Now, some people have anxiety the tries to overcompensate. This can lead to irrational thoughts or actions in order to protect themselves or others. This is not a good thing.
