6/24=1/4... the answer is 25% off

another way to find it is 24-6=18 and keep subtracting till u get to zero and how ever many times u subtracted, u take one over whatever was the number of times subtracted

ratio of money off to total price equals percent off to total percent

1/4 = p/100
100/4 = p
25% = p
