A student sets up two reactions. reaction 1 uses 0.260 mol/l of reactant, and reaction 2 uses 0.580 mol/l of reactant. how many times faster is reaction 2 compared to reaction 1?

Reaction 1 uses 0.260 mol/l of reactant
Reaction 2 uses 0.580 mol/l of reactant
Calculating how many times faster reaction 2 is compared to reaction1
 = Reaction 2 uses 0.580 mol/l of reactant / Reaction 1 uses 0.260 mol/l of
reactant
 = 0.580 / 0.260
 = 2.23
So reaction 2 is 2.23 times faster than reaction 1.
