According to Howard Gardner there are seven distinct types of intelligence and those are visual-spatial,musical-rhythmic,verbal-linguistic,bodily-kinesthetic,logical-mathematical,intrapersonal,interpersonal and naturalistic. The painter according to Gardner would score high on the visual-spatial type of intelligence as they think in the terms of physical space among other things.
