The component found in a virus but is absent  in cells is the protein capsid and lipoprotein envelop (for enveloped viruses).  Cells instead have a rigid wall containing peptidoglycan.

Contra wise, there are two major components that are found in cells but are not found in viruses, and these are Ribosomes and mitochondria.

Ribosomes are cell structures  also called the work bench of eukaryotic cells and bacteria  because they are the sites where cell proteins are made.

Mitochondria are organelles found in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells. They are also known as the powerhouse of cells because it is here that the process of respiration and energy production takes place.
