In order to defeat the Japanese forces in the Pacific Theatre of World War II, Allied commanders employed a naval strategy known as

A) "Island Hopping."
B) "Operation Torch."
C) "Kangaroo Circuit."
D) "Operation Overlord."

please help ;)

Respuesta :

They did something called "Island hopping".

It's where the US basically took over small islands that the Japanese were not defending very well and used them for their advantage. You see, these islands made it so the United States were able to reach Japan quickly! And, it gave the Allies the "surprise!" effect. Which, as we know, is a very good thing to have in a war!

Hope this helps!

island hopping is the answer
