Last month, Margo bought a tree that grows 2.5 cm 5 cm5, tall when she bought it and now it is 65 cm tall. Write an equation to determine the number of days Margo has owned the plant.

if x is the number of days, then the equation is as follows:

65 = 5+2.5x
2.5x=60
x=60/2.5

x=24 days
