The supreme court upheld a law that required business to remain close in some areas on Sundays. The Sunday Closing Law, often referred to as Blue Laws, regulate the public and private conduct of people on Sundays. This is going back to colonial times when Sunday was the day of the Sabbath and mandated church attendance disallowed for things like working or selling and purchasing alcohol.
