What is a common theme in H. G. Wells's works The Island of Dr. Moreau and The Invisible Man?
danger of scientific advancement without ethics
danger of class differences between upper and lower classes
danger of humanity’s uncontrolled exploitation of nature
danger of losing human relationships and means of communication

Respuesta :

In my opinion, the correct answer is D. danger of losing human relationships and means of communication. Both Dr. Moreau and Griffin are socially isolated and are losing contact with reality. The former is banished from London because of his inhumane treatment of animals (vivisection), and the latter is isolated even though he lives in an urban environment. He is an outcast whose formula for invisibility is just a metaphor for his detachment from society.
