The Eagle trucking company must deliver 7/8 ton of cement blocks and 5/8 ton of bricks to one place. How much will this load weigh?

If my understanding is correct, and there are no other details left out for this question, this is just addition of fractions. 

7/8 ton of cement + 5/8 ton of bricks would be equal to 12/8 tons of load.
Simplifying this further will give us 3/2 tons or 1 1/2 tons of load.
