Respuesta :
Well the number of volcanoes in the pacific ocean are greater because of the ring of fire. Basically what that is is its a hot spot for volcanoes. There's many located under the water there. Its located in the pacific ocean off the coast of California. I haven't heard of any active volcanoes in the Atlantic. That's all the information I can give. I know this probably doesn't help, sorry.
Answer:
The comparison must be made in relation to the number of active volcanoes between the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.
Explanation:
The Pacific Ocean has a greater number of active volcanoes than the Atlantic Ocean. This is directly related to the geographic composition of the Pacific Ocean.
The pacific ocean has an area of high geological intability, promoting high tectonic activity in this region. Between the west of the americas and the east of asia and the ocean, occupying approximately 40 thousand kilometers, this area counts a large number of volcanoes that are the result of the frequent collision between the tectonic plates of the region. This region is known as the Pacific Ring of Fire and is the main reason why the Pacific Ocean has more volcanoes than the Atlantic Ocean.
