The answer is B.  The fact that, in the example offered by Sharp, the mother got to know the man who received a transplant of her son's heart. Being now in some kind of relationship with this man that carries her son's heart, she has to deal with the emotional idea that it might be considered an incestuous relationship. In Sharp's view it became important.
