I feel that the US would have eventually joined the war effort in WW2 as Hitlers domination of Europe was spreading. There would have been a breaking point where it would become a greater threat to the US. Whether or not the US should have entered the war earlier or not is irrelevant in my opinion. Japan's attack was the primer for US to enter but I feel that the US leaders and that of the United Kingdom made decisions to the best of their abilities, considering their citizens and fought against oppressors that wanted to destroy civilisation and humanity as a whole.
