Respuesta :

I believe having a garden can help youth relate in a different way with time, the earth and their elders. Not all children respond positively to school, and homework and tests, and may need tactical understanding of the world instead of on paper. A plant, from seedling to flower, teaches young kids patience and responsibility. A flower does not grow over night, but must be taken care of with love and time. Patience is a key factor to understanding elders as well. In our world of fast-paced, instant gratification it is easy to forego the simplicity of planting a garden or picking our own tomatoes.
