Respuesta :
A strong nuclear force in an atom attracts protons and neutrons.
What is a nuclear force?
Nuclear forces (also known as nuclear interactions or strong forces) are the forces that act between two or more nucleons.
A strong nuclear force can be regarded as strong interaction. It is a force which is strong enough to overcome the repulsive force that exists between two positively charged protons, and this gives room for protons and neutrons to stick together in a small space. This strong interaction can as well be regarded as an attractive force and it binds elementary particles known as quarks together and it forms the "nucleons " which are (protons and neutrons).
Hence, a strong nuclear force in an atom attracts protons and neutrons.
