Answer:
Foot drop is the problem involving the weakness of ankle and toe. Dorsiflexion is the process of movement of foot upwards towards the shin. It means extension of foot in the dorsal, or upward direction. The muscles that are involved in dorsiflexion includes the anterior tibilalis, extensor muscles of hallucis longus and digitorium longus. As a problem of foot it can affect other parts of body. Other muscles which compensate for lack of dorsiflexion during walking like firstly knees are affected, then the hips and back and lastly shoulders and neck are affected.
