Nerve impulses have been found to travel as fast as 100 m/s . what could account for the difference between your answer to question 5 and this value obtained by researchers

Respuesta :

The myelin sheath allows nerve impulses to propagate very quickly along a nerve's axon to transport the signal between nerve cells. The myelin coating allows the chain reaction of impulses to jump certain distances instead of waiting for the chemical changes to happen at all points on the axon.
