An important issue of our time is the effect the Green Revolution can have in Africa. Currently in Africa several regions are experiencing droughts that has the effect of causing state wide famines in the continent. The Green Revolution has helped Asia and Mexico avoid famine, but the next goal in today's modern world needs to be Africa. However, the battle will be between teaching farmers how to implement the new technology and how to implement the expense of new technology. More news coverage needs to happen on this topic.
