Gastrulation is a stage of embryonic growth which major developmental process consists in the division and multiplication of the cells that will generate the morphological changes in the embryo, since the cells of the ectoderm divide and migrate, to form the third layer, the mesoderm, and then start forming skin and vital organs to finally have a fetus.
