I believe that it is yes. They were. His rebellion showed that people were not going to be restricted by the coast. The government, to solve the unrest, created military force to force to push back the Native Americans and give more land to the settlers.
The Bacon’s Rebellion was a rebellion that happened in 1676 in Virginia led by settlers led by Nathaniel Bacon against the Governor over a series of reasons such as the low prices of tobacco, high taxes, the need of removing Native Americans from the Treaty of Protected Lands and the Governor not providing protection against the Native Americans thefts.
Bacon’s Rebellion showed a glimpse of the main reasons for the American Revolution because eventually, the Colonies wanted independence because of the high taxes imposed by the British Parliament.
