When taking diazepan simvastain and/ or lovsastatin, GRAPE FRUIT JUICE SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
Grape fruit juice interfere with the drug action of diazepan and aggravate the side effects of the drug. Grape fruit juice taking with diazepan makes the user to feel sedated and the user might find it hard to control his muscular movements. This happens because grape fruit contains high amount of antioxidants which block the action of the enzyme CYP 3A4 for about 24 hours, when grape is taking with diazepan.
