Wood Alcohol is also referred to as methyl alcohol or methanol in today's modern time. Methanol is found in industrial alcohols, which was banned by the government after the Prohibition era, because even a small dose of methanol is fatal to one's health. A small dose of Methanol, either absorbed by the skin or was intake by a person, may cause severe symptoms within 30 hours, if not treated well, it may cause further complications and may even cause death at complicated stages.
