Confirmation bias otherwise known as confirmatory bias or myside bias, is the propensity to scan for, translate, support, and review data in a way that affirms one's previous convictions or hypotheses. It is a sort of intellectual predisposition and a deliberate mistake of inductive thinking. Individuals show this inclination when they accumulate or recall data specifically, or when they decipher it biasedly.
