A scientist is comparing the outer structure of an onion cell, structure X, to the outer structure of a human skin cell, structure Y. Which generalization is true about the types of structures being examined?

Respuesta :

There are many generalisations about the outer structure of an onion skin cell and a human skin cell. Some of the generalisations are untrue. One of the generalisations that is true is that both the onion skin cell and the human skin cell have a cell membrane. The cell membrane allows different water and food molecules to pass through it. These molecules move from an area where there is a high concentration of the molecules to an area where there is a low concentration of the molecules. This is called the process of Osmosis.

Answer:

C) Structure X is only found in plant cells, and structure Y is found in plant and animal cells.
