Compound
microscope is the most widely used type of microscope in schools or in a
microbiology laboratories like in a hospital. It enables the user to see tiny
specimens like cells, magnified up to almost 400x the size of object or
specimen. The usual specimen that are being observed in a compound microscope
are cells, tissues, amoebas, cross section of leaves or stems, tiny particles
that cannot be seen by the naked eye.
