Jerry multiplied 3.04*7.091 and got the product 2.155664.is his answer reasonable?why or why not

His answer is not reasonable because the decimal is misplaced. The actually answer is 21.5564, all he did was move the decimal place over.

No.  Jerry's answer is not reasonable.

If he were only multiplying the whole numbers without the decimal parts,
he would have (3 * 7) = 21.

Since each factor is slightly bigger than the whole-number part, the answer
must be slightly bigger than 21.  His answer of 2.1- - - can't be correct.
