• Identification of the decision: When one realizes that one requires to make a decision, then one should clearly illustrate the nature of the decision to make.  

• Gathering relevant information: One needs to gather relevant information prior to making the decision.  

• Identification of the alternatives: At the time of gathering information, one possibility would determine many possible paths of alternatives or actions.

• Weighing the evidence: One needs to draw on the emotions and information to imagine what it would be like if one carries each of the alternatives till the end.  

• Choosing among alternatives: After weighing all the evidence, one should be ready to choose the alternative, which appears to be the best one.  

• Take action: Now one is ready to take some positive action by initiating to use the alternative chosen by one.  

• Review the decision and its outcome: It is the final step, in which one should consider the outcomes of the decision and assess that whether it has solved the need one determined in the first step.  

• In my opinion, the identification of the decision is the most important step, as without identification other steps cannot be implemented. It is the most important step in order to prevent any kind of error.  

Thus, decision making is the procedure of implementing choices by determining a decision, collecting information, and evaluating the alternative resolutions.
