Simplifying 7x + -14 = 4x + 19 Reorder the terms: -14 + 7x = 4x + 19 Reorder the terms: -14 + 7x = 19 + 4x Solving -14 + 7x = 19 + 4x Solving for variable 'x'. Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right. Add '-4x' to each side of the equation. -14 + 7x + -4x = 19 + 4x + -4x Combine like terms: 7x + -4x = 3x -14 + 3x = 19 + 4x + -4x Combine like terms: 4x + -4x = 0 -14 + 3x = 19 + 0 -14 + 3x = 19 Add '14' to each side of the equation. -14 + 14 + 3x = 19 + 14 Combine like terms: -14 + 14 = 0 0 + 3x = 19 + 14 3x = 19 + 14 Combine like terms: 19 + 14 = 33 3x = 33 Divide each side by '3'. x = 11 Simplifying x = 11

Hopefully this helps sorry if its confusing

so first you get all the numbers without a variable on one side what i do is put all the constants on the right side.so take -14 and add it to 19 and you get 32then take 4x to the left side and you cant go down any more so it equals

x=11
