Northside High School is having a spaghetti dinner fundraiser. In order to advertise, students place flyers on neighborhood doors. Margie hands out 120 flyers in 2 hours. Jaxon hands out 18 flyers in 15 minutes. Who is able to pass out flyers at a faster rate?

2 hours = 60*2 = 120 minutes

120/120 = 1

Margie handed out 1 flyer every minute

Jaxon handed 18/15 = 1.2 flyers per minute

 so Jaxon is faster
