Respuesta :

Even though early American writers had very different lives, experiences and interests, they were often concerned with many of the same topics. This is because of their common location and time period.

For example, one important topic was that of religion. Both Edwards as well as Bradstreet discuss the importance of a pious life that is guided by Christian values. However, their approaches to this topic are different. While Bradstreet focuses on the spiritual life of the family and of personal reflection, Edwards takes a much stronger approach towards the salvation of humanity.

Another topic that appears in these writings is that of hard work. Bradford discusses the importance of industry and hard work when it comes to developing our community. This is an interest that Bradstreet shares. The importance of hard work is present in most early American writings as it formed an important part of the Puritan way of life.

The values include religion, hardwork, etc and they are important for the development of a nation.
