As the Italian states and populations become richer and wealthier, the poor increase in numbers in different regions, because of the purchasing power of the rich and the power to exercise activities that the poor can not because of a lack of resources. Poverty is increasing, and the rich in the Italian states become richer, with no balance of goods and equitable resources for the entire population.
