In y = mx + b form, the slope is in the m position and the y int is in the b position. So lets put ur equation in y = mx + b form.
-4x - 9y = 27....add 4x to both sides
-9y = 4x + 27 ...now divide both sides by -9
y = -4/9x - 3
And like I said, the slope is in the m position and the y int is in the b position...
y = mx + b
y = -4/9x - 3
so ur slope = -4/9 and ur y int = -3 or (0,-3)
