Michael has to paint a house whose size is 2,800 square feet. He used 5 gallons of paint to cover 1,750 square feet.

How many more gallons of paint will he need to cover the remaining area?

    5            1.750
    x            2.800
1750x = 5*2800
x = 14.000/1750 
x = 8 
As he had already used 5 gallons , then , will be left only 8 - 5 = 3
R : 3 gallons
