This action is disputed still, but some of the arguments against it include:

- a great number of people, mostly civilians died and killing people should be avoided. It is not clear if continued fighting would result in less deaths
- it gave a dangerous precedence of dropping atomic bombs on the civilian population, and this should be avoided ( so other countries, or the US should not try to think that it was effective and repeat it).

but i just wanted to say that the guy that asked this question has not been on brainly scene march of 2016, that makes me wounder what this guy is doing now, he could be graduating from high school its just crazy to me how time fly's so fast on the internet.
