The device used by the media to persuade or entertain the audience is the emotional appeal. With the emotional appeal it is possible to manipulate the public reaction to a news or event, generating a general tendency of opinion (of course, there is no way to be sure of the result of this persuasion, after all, it does not always work). An example: the newspaper presenter begins to detail the life of a thug, stating his poor background and indicating that he could not feed himself, all in an attempt to reduce people's rejection of a thug.
