What is the problem at the
beginning of the story?
Jada refuses to go with Terrance to the
convention as planned.
Terrance was laying out his costume for the comic
book convention when his phone's text alert chirped. He
read his mother's message in disbelief.
"Nooooooo," he groaned, "Mom's working late!"
His younger sister, Jada, appeared in his bedroom
doorway and said, "But you still get to go to your ridiculous
convention, right?"
"It's not ridiculous!" Terrance insisted. "I've been
planning for it all year, and now Mom's making me take
you!"
Terrance is being forced to take Jada to
