Plans, organizes, and directs sustainment activities meeting customer requirements while sustaining key operational network and telecom assets that support mission functions as applicable. Processes and coordinates work standards, methods, and controls for preventive, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions. Determine the extent and economy of repair of malfunctioning equipment.
a) Performs additional duties as assigned (primary or alternate) to include safety, security, ADPE, information assurance, vehicle, and other requirements and duties mandated upon the work-center and/or help desk function.
b) Keeps abreast with changing technology to assist management in planning of future enhancements; forecasts for future needs and prepares recommendations, justifications, and specifications for equipment and applications in support of the mission.
c) Coordinates request for service orders within 2 business days of receiving customers' request.
