so angle1+angle2=180

x+3+5x-15=180
combinelike terms
6x-12=180
add 12 to both sides
6x=192
divide both sides by 6
x=32

angle1=x+3=32+3=35

angle2=5x-15=5(32)-15=160-15=145 degrees


angle1=35 degrees
angle2=145 degree
