The Buddha's descent from Trayastrimsha to Earth is so important in social space because he came to teach to benefit the gods in the realms of desire and to pay the debt of kindness of his mother through liberating her from Samsara. It is considered to be one of the eight great deeds the Buddha performed. The story is represented throughout art works and paintings depicting the descent to the Earth; at this time of the descent, it is said that all heavenly, hell and human realms were visible at the same time.
