m is the mid-point : (0,1)
c is one end : (-3, -1)
n is the other end : (x, y)
The formula for the midpoint of a line segment is : ([tex] \frac{ x_{1} + x_{2} }{2} [/tex], [tex] \frac{ y_{1} + y_{2}}{2} [/tex])
Mid-point m : ([tex] \frac{x + (-3)}{2} , \frac{y + (-1)}{2} [/tex])
(0, 1) : ([tex] \frac{(x -3)}{2} , \frac{(y -1)}{2} [/tex])
Thus,
[tex] \frac{x-3}{2} = 0[/tex]
--- x = 3
[tex] \frac{y-1}{2} = 1[/tex]
y -1 = 2
--- y = 3
The co-ordinate of n is (3,3)
