The answer is Ideal culture. It is our ideas, values, and beliefs that a particular group holds as morally or ethically desirable. Ideal culture are the rosy images that society has of itself, and real culture are the cultural patterns that society actually practices and displays. An ideal culture consists of those ideals that people would like to attain as a society. For example: Trina’s ideal culture consists of never lie or to cheat. However, in certain cases Trina does lie and cheat, even though she finds it immoral to do so. This where real culture will come in.
