There
are different consequences of people who tend to face early failures. Some
could thrive to become successful after consistent failures.
However, people who have failed do not get the same treatment as the
successful people do.
The people who have succeeded in their early attempts will be given more
opportunities to show their talent and become more successful. The failed
artists might not get a chance or opportunity to grow, improve and to exhibit
their talents.
Malcolm Gladwell talks about an example regarding the Canadian Hockey
players, who are evaluated for their talent at the young age of 10 years. The
players who are good at their sport at that age are given preference by the
coach, whereas the ones who are not up to the mark fail to gather the coach’s
attention and might fail to grab an opportunity to play for the team in the
future.
Therefore, by prematurely writing off people as failures, they are denied
the chances and opportunities to achieve their goals and success.
