FL-800 is a summary dissolution information booklet used for dissolution of a
marriage, or of a registered domestic partnership, or of both.
It can be done without the help of an attorney, but it does need the address of the individuals as they will have to submit their documents.
Both the partners have to sign the form FL-800 and submit it to a court clerk along with other submitted documents that include Form Fl-825 (Judgment of Dissolution and Notice of Entry of Judgment), Form FL-150 (Income and Expense Declaration), Property Declaration, Community Obligations, etc, after paying a waiving fee.
The individual will have to approach the court to file for the summary dissolution in the county in which they have lived for the last 3 months.
