2. Examine the scene using a systematic search method.
3. Sketch the scene to create an overall diagram.
4. Photograph the scene, the evidence, the body to get detailed pictures of what everything looked like at that moment.
5. Collect Evidence
We need to complete all of these five steps to make sure that there is no missing links in the investigations, such as missing evidence or someone falsifying the evidence.
