Weather data is used to make forecasts first by analyzing a weather report to discover it's parts, the purpose of it is to include a variety of weather map symbols, predict weather events and produce mock forecasts which the intent shows how data is collected and analyzed. The same techniques are used to analyze weather data. By creating a web from the start, they'll be able to complete an assessment where they'd be creating another web which outlines the steps a forecaster takes to produce a forecast.
