Temperature and activation energy

Answer:  Temperature and Activation energy

Explanation:  Arrhenius equation is the equation which explains the criterion of activation energy with the temperature.

                                       k = A exp (-Ea / RT)

where k = rate constant of the given reaction

A = pre exponential or arrhenius constant

Ea = Activation Energy

R = gas constant

T = Temperature of the reaction

Activation energy is the minimum energy required by the reactants to conevert into the product.

Thus if we increase the temperature and decrease the activation energy, the rate constant of the reaction will decrease.
