john is 35 years old,and his son is 5. how many years will john be exactly 3 times as old as his son?

Respuesta :

(35+t)/(5+t)=3 --> 35+t = 15+3t --> 20=2t --> t=10 years

Dad: 45, son: 15 (works!)
