First person point-of-view is when the narrator is also a character in the story. The biggest indicators of first person is the use of the pronouns I, me, my, our, ours. In this sentence, Twain uses the first person pronouns I and my. Third person is when the narrator is outside of the story and uses third person pronouns like He, She, They, It. The last point of view type is second person. The narrator uses second person pronouns "you" and "yours". This is often use for instruction books like cookbooks and car manuals.
