Radium inserted in the vagina of a client now is being removed. Which safety precaution should the nurse employ when assisting with the radium removal?

Respuesta :

More than likely the nurse should take caution to radioactivity. I mean I am not a master at this but I have done my research and radium is highly radioactive and is often times considered pure radiation. In other words the nurse should take precautions of not coming in contact with the radium.
