This is my first time asking a question on here-- well it here it goes.
Two weather tracking stations are on the equator 146 miles apart. A weather balloon is located on a bearing of N 35°E from the western station and on a bearing of N 23°E from the eastern station. How far is the balloon from the western station?
Please help if you can. :)

I just learned about the law of sines but here's what I think the answer is We must first find A and B using right angles. 90-35=5523+90=113Then find C so that we can have one full set with both the angle and the corresponding side. 113+55=168180-168=12C is 12. Now use the law of sines. 146/sin(12)=x/sin(113)Were using 113 because that is the corresponding angle to the side we are looking for which we can say is b. Solve for x by cross multiplying. 146*sin(113)=134.393708604. 134.393708604/sin(12)=646.39803599 which I believe is the answer.
